Kitchen Remodel in Chevy Chase, Maryland
Project Overview
This Chevy Chase kitchen remodel was designed to update finishes, open up the space, and transform the ceiling for a brighter, more functional layout. By removing the wall between the kitchen and dining room, the renovation created a seamless flow, making the kitchen the true centerpiece of the home.
Design + Layout
One unique challenge in this project was addressing the homeowners’ desire for a hidden powder room door to enhance both privacy and aesthetics. To achieve this, we integrated a jib door into the pantry wall opposite the kitchen island. This clever solution blends the door seamlessly into the cabinetry, creating a streamlined look.
Style + Finishes
The kitchen embraces a modern farmhouse style. Inset cabinetry from Cabico adds timeless character, while Caesarstone countertops offer durability and elegance. The custom jib door blends seamlessly into the pantry wall, creating a simple, sleek look. The result is a kitchen that beautifully blends practicality with style.
