The homeowners wanted this ADU to act as a personal retreat for their children and also to rent as an Airbnb during certain times of the year. Designed with these factors in mind, the space includes a full bath, a sleeping area with bunk beds that can double as an office, and a cozy den that opens to an outdoor space. The kitchen features large windows and a countertop bar overhang that extends to the outdoors. Despite the smaller rooms, the kitchen includes all conveniences such as a convection oven, induction range, and a farmhouse sink.
